Made in Japan.
Japan is well known as industrial country, I think.
As same as another products like car or bike(Toyota or Kawasaki), lot of BMX
products are made in Japan, or produced by Japanese.
Here are a little example of those.
| Company | Products | Comment |
| Techno Nankai |
Free coaster Front hub |
Pretty popular free coaster for flatlanders are made in Osaka, Japan. Nankai is not so big company, but products speak the capacity of the company. Nankai does miner change of the products, but almost all parts are compatible for old and new products. Newest version is 50g lighter than privious one. |
| Araya |
|
Araya is pretty old company in Osaka as same as
Nankai, established in 1903. They produce so many products not only rims for bmx, like industrial pipe, rim manufacturing machine, rim assembley machine(they have patent about those), or so. They produce so many metal bended products, and the quality of their products is pretty nice. For flatlanders, Super 7x is good, and for street riders, Himikois strong.(Himiko is well known in Japan as a first queen of Japan.) |
| Suzue | Sheeld Hubs MHS |
Suzue is producing so many hubs for MTB, Keirin bicycles, and BMX. For my opinion, products of this company is pretty cheap for their quality. |
| Shimano | Bicycle products | Shimano is pretty famous on BMX comunity because of DX pedal, I guess. Shimano is standing at Osaka, Japan and their office is standing all over the world. They produce high quality MTB parts or Road lacer parts and their share of cycle parts all over the world is more than 80%. They produce golf or snowboard products as well. I was planning to work on this company when I was university student, but I slept over on entrance examination day. I hope they produce more BMX parts. If they wanted to, they could produce awesome Bmx parts. |
| magic fruits | Pegs Handlebars Stem |
Not so many riders outside of Japan may not know this company, but they are pretty famous and well sold in Japan. I have never used their products, so I don't know well about the quality, but it appears well. You can check their website. |
| Quamen | clad | All of flatlanders know this name because of Martti Kuoppa. Made in USA but first of all, the products started by owner of Dig-it. |
